Healthcare Marketing →

Handling creative direction at a boutique healthcare agency for large accounts gave me the chance to work on multiple hospitals and healthcare systems in several categories including oncology, pulmonology, gynaecology, endocrinology and pain management. I connected with doctors, patients and their families while shooting campaigns. Bringing their journeys to life to inform future patients was immensely rewarding. I also worked on campaigns touting the achievements of hospitals in order to attract and inspire the next generation of medical professionals.

Vassar Hospital “ Take Me To Vassar”

Vassar Hospital is the oldest and most highly regarded hospital in New York’s Hudson Valley region. But a competing, ‘outsider’ healthcare system acquired a small hospital in Vassar’s backyard - and local physicians were being heavily recruited to refer their patients to this other hospital. The patients were completely unaware they had a choice in an emergency.

We needed to empower patients to make the hospital choice that was best for them. “Take me to Vassar” was that rallying cry.  Simple, bold, and relatable for Vassar’s community.

Vassar Hospital “Healthier Together”

The ‘Healthier Together’ campaign showed that the beginning of Vassar’s larger hospital system didn’t mean the end of its community feel. Rather, it signaled an expanded healthcare network and greater resources with more medical professionals who shared deep roots and connections within the community.

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital “Reputation”

For this campaign, I was handed a set of white papers. I selected factoids to highlight and circled back with physicians to make sure we were on track. I’m expecting my mail-order medical degree any day now.

NYP wanted to tout the cache of being an NYP doctor in the medical community. So we highlighted their truly cutting-edge research and pioneering work across disciplines in medical journals and LinkedIn as teasers to their published papers which lived on NYP’s website.

Maternal Fetal Medicine

These ads introduced NewYork-Presbyterian's Mothers Center - so high-risk pregnant women didn't have to run from pillar to post to get treatment.

HealthQuest Hospitals Lung Cancer Screening

We were charged with driving home the point that you can't wait for symptoms before you get screened because usually there are none.

Orthopedics

This one was to show the availability of MAKOplasty surgery at HQ's orthopedic institute.

Wound Care

This ad was to show the availability of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at HQ's wound care centers.
